A Shelter
One of the two admission-assignments for the IAFD-department is to create a shelter. It all started with the question: what do you desire to shelter from? I wrote down dependance. For me, truly feeling sheltered is more than just being within a space that protects you. When you're heavily dependent on the space and the material things it provides to you, and the world isn't revealing itself to you when you're in this shelter, a feeling of being locked up will arise, I suppose.
So, I designed a shelter, that is still work in progress, in which the world is to be seen. And while staying in this shelter, (hopefully) you will start feeling sheltered caused by not merely the structure, colors, location, sight, smell and sound of the shelter.
